Swim Lessons at Plymouth Swim Club

At Plymouth Swim Club, our swim lesson program is designed to provide swimmers with the skills they need to be safe, confident, and successful in the water. Our structured lessons guide swimmers through essential techniques and water safety, ensuring they build a strong foundation for a lifetime of swimming.

This group is designed to introduce arm and leg movements simultaneously, while developing more confidence in the water.
  • Minnows – Intermediate-Advanced Group
The Minnows group is designed for swimmers to learn stroke development along with rotary breathing.

Swim lessons are a guide to help swimmers learn the basics of swimming and water safety. To ensure progress, it’s highly recommended that you practice the skills your swimmer learns during lessons while at the pool together.

Floatation Devices:
To support our youngest swimmers, we will use flotation devices like bubbles in the Tadpoles group. However, we will also conduct lessons without floatation devices to ensure swimmers don’t become reliant on them. The goal is for every swimmer to develop confidence and independence in the water.
